Suggestion for if/when Scarlet Citadel returns

If you ever brought back SC would you consider adding a very small percentage rate for the trash mobs or bosses to drop transmogrification gear like the sort that would normally have to be donated for? I think this would drive up interest significantly. I also think if you added SWP gear to the BT bosses it would also make people a lot more willing to attempt PvE, knowing that there are solid rewards. Just small suggestions really, what do you guys think? Let's not forget that a couple of years ago all SWP items were free and you could get all SWP items from ZA, including items that were not in the main vendor for one reason or another.

Considering the transmog gear could go into the hundreds, it sounds like too much effort for something that doesn't really have relation to the raid. Given the amount of SWP items there are, and patterns, it's going to already be a lot of work.

SWP gear was never all free, it's always been a select amount from the donor vendor. Additionally, ZA didn't drop it all either, neither did SC before it. This will be the first time it's all available. Ever.

Doesn't really work. Additionally, how can you say SC is boring? Were you even here in 2009? If you by some chance were, it's a lot better in terms of boss encounters than it was 4 years ago. Sure, some may be boring, the trash is a PAIN to get through, but that's raiding. I'm not going to sit there and let you enter walk up, kill boss and 'yaaaa easy loot'. It's supposed to be hard, long, and tedious. The average time was 3-4 hours to clear if I recall correctly from those days. That's the point of PvE. Given that I made it all from scratch and what the client allows me to use, I think I've done a fantastic job.

If you don't want to take part in it, fine. But when raid groups here wipe on the first boss in Gruul, I don't think BT, or Sunwell before it will ever work well here. SC is hard, but it has been done before once the tactics are learned.

PS: Semi-related Corrupted Ashbringerhas been a hot request item from people wanting to transmog it. I've told people I am going to implement it into SC. I have not worked the logistics of it out yet, but I will have a quest line for it -- preferably like a classic legendary line like Thunderfury, etc. Starts with a drop, then a quest, you do something, etc., etc.

I look forward to this. I've been relaying this custom raid's concept off to some buddies I raided with over the years, and it would appear I successfully got close to twenty of the best people I ever raided with in TBC/Wrath coming out of the wood work whenever this hits. This will hopefully help the server out PvE-wise, because if they could turn my brother into a raider, there's hope for the rest of us afterall.
