hi, wouldnt that be possible to increase number of badges obtained through bgs to some reasonable rate? i mean here u need 100 bg marks to obtain 1 piece of a set and its kinda too much when u compare it to normal rates (for example fm or hw set costs like 20-30 marks a piece) so i think it would be logical to increase the number of badges got from 10 bg marks to 4 or 5 the other possitive efect might be that ppl would learn how to play instead of lagging server up with pve...what brings me to the fact that the pve is awarded too much marks... u get almost one item per swv run (and u certainly dont get t6 set piece a run when running black temple)

I agree to disagree if we would raise the reward amount in bg's it would take alot of people away from our custom raids and instances. But then again maybe a little increase couldnt hurt could it?

Well we always get the horde that's always doing Bgs for the fact that they most of the time outnumber allience, and allience doing lots of raids because they are afraid to go 3vs9 or so against the horde and wasting time getting no marks. Maybe if we favor BGs more by adding more rewards to it, it will balance things out. Its a maybe.

We have to also recognize the time and effort our admins have put into our custom raids as well.

In MaNGOS 0.13 (milestone of 3.x) they have a feature that'll automatically balance the BGs. For example, five Alliance and ten Horde queue for WSG, it'll be a 5v5 game. Get it?

It's a possibility, however I feel that honor marks should be obtained through PvE and gear through PvP should be obtained through arena. A little buff wouldn't hurt but not much because I don't want people to be able to get more marks through BGs than PvE.

why not?...the pve is boring no skill grinding anyway
