I think I have an idea how to increase the amount of voters. Now after some time there is nothing to buy for badges of justice, and that person probalby stops voting.

Make voting reward people with a [badge of voting] rather than a badge of justice. This item would be availble only through voting, and could be exchanged for various consumables and badge of justice aswell.
This badge would give full stacks of for example: rumsey rum black label, stat scrolls, well feed food, blacksmithing grinders/weights/ward of shielding, weapon oils, flasks, noggenfogger elixir and more...
Most of these items are already availble ingame, but some are rather anoying to farm or long to make.

This way people will vote constantly to replienish their supplys faster.

Maybe it could also be used in large quantities alone or with bg marks to buy S4, it will take alot of time as I suggested in http://www.smolderforge.com/forums/view ... =11&t=5882. I think its a great compromise to what I'm talking about there. This way, even a non donor can contribute to the server somehow.

It could use the existing voting point system directly to buy items here on site, rather that creating this custom item.

I'm not sure if voting is really that helpfull for server population, I would like to hear something about this aswell.

With the launch of the new site we are using voting points. These will be able to be spent on Wrath and TBC and in the very soon future useable for purchasing renames, faction changes(wrath), etc. We also plan on possibly extending the list of things to chose vote rewards from in the future.
