Since it's a raving topic on the server right now, I thought I'd throw my 2 rupees in.
Alterac Valley
A port that brings you into an AV without resources, basically.
Daily quests would include killing bosses in mines, guards at the opposing faction's fortress, & the opposing faction's bosses/sub bosses. Also maybe collection quests from the mobs around AV.
Of course, the NPCs and bosses would have to be beefed up to make it more difficult. The dailies would give people something to do when PvP is lacking and would also be a great place to world PvP. Thoughts?

Make multiple res spots, with random spawns, and it could be a good idea.

One does not simply deactivate a battleground like it's no big deal.

I can write some more quests for more objectives around AV, but I am not ruining that battleground.

I've been on a server with AV(as the mall) with world PvP there while AV is able to queue o_o

Sounds like Ascent/ArcEmu. Their core was always weird like that.

I wouldn't be able to tell you which core it was on because it was during TBC I played on such a server XD
However, you should take a look at my PvE Suggestion because I personally think it's FAR more important than a new world PvP spot
