What do you expect in WOTLK server?

For those who have played on our 2.4.3, and our previous wotlk and our previous pre BC server, with the construction of a new server what can the server do to improve from previous constructions?
Remember, just because you don't participate with the project directly you can voice your opinion/sugguestions here.
A couple things we can direct ourselves is:
1. Economy
2. Promotion of 3v3 and 5v5 brackets
3. PVE
4. PVP routines
5. Dailies
..and etc.

I think it'll be the same as the last one.

Clearly you've been in the pre-beta.

I dislike the whole "economy" thing. As Hen stated somewhere else in these forums, SF is a funserver.
I do however LOVE promotion of the 3v3 and 5v5 brackets, dailies not so much. PvP routines? Explain.
This version will be far better than the last because:
The old WOTLK SF was almost literally a copy of a server we merged with, Pineapple WoW. They had custom battleground and honor marks which quite frankly was sloppy, and annoying.
This time we'll have competent staff, not saying the Pineapple Staff were retards but hey, our staff gets stuff done(most of the time).
And, this time I can fulfill my life-long dream of going from "rags to riches" :3

You sir, have it right. From what I've seen it is going to be amazing. Henhouse and other are working really hard to make it an amazing server.
You can count on me and other staff members who will make it even better after it is launched.
Trust me: It will be more than epic ;)

1.Economy?As in ?If you were referring to the mark of remulos system....it was a fine idea but poorly implemented.(It didn't fit very well in the currency system)
2.Promotion of 3v3 and 5v5....easy answer...the more the merrier...or something like that...if we have a healthy player pool(like tbc has..over 300) then it is possible to promote and encourage brackets such as 3v3.(not to the point were you need rating in 3v3 to get wrath wep.)The old SF wotlk which was forgotten even by gms was populated by what?50 players online?I doubt 3v3's weren't going on because people didn't want to but because the server was ....empty.+OLD SF WRATH had automatic messages that encouraged 3v3's :P gz to that.
3.Pve...to hell with it.I don't even get why people bother doing this on an instant funserver. You're asking gms to script/work hard and "repair"pve on a server that is designed purely/solely for pvp.Just stupid. They should only focus on scripting the weekly boss encounter and leave it at that.
4.PvP routines? If you are talking about the "diversity" needed for bgs then you are spot on.If I remember correcly Henhouse or whoever replied to my post back in the SF Wrath days implemented what I suggested.Changing the "Call to arms"during that day...that way people were encouraged to queue up for something else rather than WSG 24 FUCKING 7.(Tho I love wsg)I hope Henhouse comes with a brilliant idea (like he did with tbc) to assure that bgs are played evenly.(Maybe remove everything else and leave just the option "Queue for random bg"....dunno just saying)
5.Dailies.On this type of server I consider dailies as a "go do world pvp" demand.Until now I have yet seen a server implement such a great system that will make this "idea" work.(PS:Hyjal is shit.Open space equals zero pvp....at least get some sexy LoS/strange places for a daily hub....like some ruins etc.)
I for one would love if Wintergrasp worked.World pvp.....dailies....awesome zone.(Should be implemented if at least 300 are on....if under it will just ruin the queues for actual bgs).

I figured I'd answer these as well to offer some insight as to how we're currently looking at things.
1. Economy. These are very difficult to do on funservers. Especially without having to edit every single item to remove sell cost that is given away for free. Very slim chance we'll have a gold currency system. We'll probably focus strictly on the emblem system in Wrath.
2. Promotion of 3v3 and 5v5. This is always very difficult to obtain on private servers. However, you will not be able to buy most end-game gear without 3v3 rating requirements (thank god for those). Blizzard stopped rewarding 2v2 mid-to-late Wrath so we intend to have very lesser rewards for those who do rated 2v2 arena over 3v3. However, we'll just have to see how 3v3 plays out.
3. PvE. Amazingly a lot of the raids work well and decent bit of the dungeons. Some are completely untouched. I know Halls of Reflection is not at all worked on. But raids like ICC have proven to work absolutely amazingly. We'll have to see how it plays out since it's hard for us to fully test anything without full raid groups anyway. We hope to offer a good PvE environment to those who wish to play it. After all, we will utilize the Dungeon Finder and rewards system with emblems that come from dungeons and raids.
4. PvP Routines. We are only going to all queuing for random BG. Because you can queue from any location in the game, the only way to really resolve the problem of never-ending chain WSG (much like how 2v2 reoccurring private server problem) we must prevent queuing for other battlegrounds and strictly only allow random. Strand of the Ancients is actually working and Isle of Conquest is... moderately working. There are a few glitches here and there but it's working decently well. Later on I can look into offering Call to Arms dailies there too.
5. Dailies. PvP ones still need to be considered. We cannot do marks since they were removed in Wrath and there's no other really BG PvP daily other than the Call to Arms. As for PvE, there are the weekly raid quests which rotate out and are working.
@Comments on Wintergrasp. Wintergrasp is not supported by Trinity yet and there's definitely no ETA. Over a year ago when I was first working on Smolderforge Wrath there was talk about it and the devs wanted it OUT of the repo until they were really, really ready for it. We'll have to see when the time comes. If it works as retail did then it could be very exciting.

You can always try the sexy pvp quest hubs in Grizzly Hills.Maybe they can be used for some world pvp dailies.

In regards to promoting certain battlegrounds and arena, why not use certain battleground currency to purchase gear.
Not sure how well it would work, but it's worth a shot.
I'm actually not too worried about having 3v3 promoted; if players want Wrathful Shoulders/weps then they HAVE to play 3v3. it's forced, and it works.
