60 legendary

maybe you guys could reconsider putting lvl 60 legendary weapons in the vendor's for a certain amount of badges say 150 like thori dal ?
because i dont think im the only one who kinda wants this.
and since lvl 60 raids are closed i hope this would be an alternate option for the server ^^
for example :

No. If you do this I'll pack up and leave. Well maybe not that far. They're called "Legendaries". Not "Generics". See what I'm getting at? Let me just make some elaboration on the individual items:



Thunderfury: Make the bindings 150 BoJ each maybe? That way you're still required to go to Silithus (one of the best classic zones) and kill Thunderaan (one of the best classic bosses outside AQ)

Atiesh: Just no. Atiesh without Naxx is wrong. It's so wrong it makes me sick to the stomach. Yes, I take the game a little too seriously, but just no.

Sulfuras: See my last post in (http://www.smolderforge.com/forums/view ... rofessions).

Ashbringer: This was a GM wepon. Never available to players anyway. (http://www.wowhead.com/item=22691/) is a different story, though. Again, that's just shit without Naxx. Perhaps when in the future Naxx is re-implemented, they could all drop like an [Icemote] (made up concept similar to sunmote) and with like 50 of these you could get it. If 50 sounds like a lot, it's not. That's like 2-3 clears of Naxx.

Mynce, I hope these ideas sound good to you. These sort of meet you halfway. If you played WoW during Vanilla (which you may or may not have, I'm not suggesting one or the other) then you'll surely know that Ashbringer and Atiesh without Naxx is just wrong on every level. Thunderfury has very little storyline tie to MC, so it's fine if those are disassociated. You remove Thundarran from the equation, and nothing even makes sense. It ruins the point of the game. As for Atiesh, it must be with Naxx because Kel'thuzzad was trying to get Atiesh ever since it was destroyed by Archimonde. It's a massive part of the history of the game. Lore wise, that's like the best staff of the game, amirite? As for Corrupted Ashbringer, well, I hope that's not something I need to explain to you :P

Henhouse... Please don't just make them available for BoJ. It's wrong. If nothing else than just for the sake of the time I spent writing this lmao.

just gonna point out that you could get ashbringer from Scarlet citadel a few month's ago on this serv
and there are dudu's running around with sulfuras (why i do not know)
so why not make it an option itsn ot like u NEED to get 1 right its optional thts all and a decent healing wep from lvl 70 tops atiesh its just fun to have imo. if were bounded to such standard gear then i would feel like a clone liek the next 12130123 priests for example so thats why i try to make my char unique ;)

You miss the point entirely. They're Legendary items. They're Legendary. Of course they're unique. They're unique because you can't just farm easy shit for them. I can have 150 BoJ in a week. You can farm that shit by voting and running Kara. Lots of skill involved there. Also, please type properly. I can barely more or less read what you're saying. No hostility or offense what so ever, just saying.

yea sorry about that . but my point is....
make it for a large sum of badges it doesnt need to be 150 could be more ? how can there be a challenge if the weapon is not obtainable ? make it costs 3000 badges for all i care or put them in the donate vendor ?

oh i like them but , as i said pre tbc raids are closed and henhouse isnt going to put them up
(believe me i've tried)
so im trying to do this in a different way it doesnt need to be trough farmin imo .
but atleast it should be available. dont you agree ?

Maybe Smolderforge should just become a level 60 funserver. Because that's all you guys are asking for these days on a TBC realm...

The reason I don't care to really make them available if they aren't already is because there's no point in making everything available. It ruins the game. When Smolderforge first opened 3.5 years ago it was literally possible to get almost any legendary and stuff. But it made people quit very quickly too because there was no uniqueness or specialness to the game. Making these items NO LONGER or never available keeps them special in that way. Ashbringer was ONLY given out through the quest line in SWV which has been closed for over a year. (was it in SC too? O_o). Thunderfury only from ancient GM events and the past Christmas daily present event with a 1% drop chance. Sulfuras, I'm not really sure but I believe GM events a long time ago.

If you had the option to buy them, people would. Believe me 150 badges isn't much. There are players like Firstaidkit who have thousands of badges because he's played so long. My person character which I don't play too often has over 250 badges piled up too. So I mean... yeah it's not going to happen I'm afraid. Maybe special events like Christmas where it's completely random, but I really don't think I'm going to vendor that stuff out.

people wont buy them fast depending on the price . youll make a profit
and it will still keep its Unique feature in the game

:\ I was asked to do that about Thunderfury about a year or more ago and I said I would... but I never did.

I also still have the image made to put the AQ mount up for sale -- it's still on my desktop! I just never decided to put it up. Actually here it is lol:
