Hello i have being playing the server for a few days now and have some things i would like to say that could or might improve it so here are the things...

Adverstise more - its an amazing server and deserves more then 300-400 i think its that good it should be in the thousands, Im not sure how you would advertise more but its just a suggestion.

Mounts - Add better mounts to obtain maybe Ashes of Alar and Raven lord since there the best looking mounts ever introduced to World of warcraft (You would have to earn them of course) But i was thinking if you had say 50 Days played you would get Raven lord then 100 Days played you could maybe get Ashes of Alar which would show you are a true supporter to the server by playing it for that amount of time.
Most of the mounts in the game are just standered Faction mounts except ZG Tiger and MGT also the ones that cost.

Better Open PVP Area - Hyjal is good but i was thinking more of just an open surface with nothing in (just like a patch of large grass) With broken towers on fire and broke tanks in the field and both sides would just charge each other.

Add more Titles - The old world titles are brilliant and make the server feel like its what the original tbc was like but maybe more titles then just PVP titles , Maybe like making Hand of'Adal and Champion of the Naruu in again also you could make a way to implement the Scarab lord title in again.

Thats all i really have to suggest and im not expecting these things to happen its just as i said a little suggestion i would like to say.

There were more epic mounts before, but they have been removed. they are still available as a reward for top arena teams tho.

Long time ago when hyjal was always open, people kept PVPing and doing the daily quests. Therefore bgs usually didn't have enough people for a balanced fight. that was long ago when server didn't have this much players ofc, I think its not a bad idea for now.

Those titles are obtainable for donors only atm. there must be something to make people donate due to keep the server up anyways.

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. We've been around a long time so many of your points have already been considered by us before, or have been done previously. I'll explain why some of these things are so.

The reason the server is limited, and actually I've set a cap of 400 people for now is because the server wouldn't be playable if we had 600 people in 1 mall. That's why there is a cap at the moment, any server cannot handle that much activity in such a small location. Before I went on vacation I was working on ways to spread out the popular more as well as new updates in with them. We added two new alternate malls which haven't been very successful so later on I'll have to address that and continue to make them spread out more.

At times I really enjoy the population we have. Sure seeing a bigger number is really, really cool -- however it's actually more painful at times too. Right now we get around 50-100 tickets per day. Imagine having 2000 players for example that number would be around 300 tickets per day. A number I, and my current staff would not be able to keep up with without degrading support performance, as well as the number of quality GMs. If we do continue to increase, I would like it to be gradual.

As for advertising more, we're on the major vote sites and that's about as much advertising as I do. I pay for gold membership AKA, banner display on some of them as well so unless people go around spamming which I do not approve of, I'd say we're doing a lot already.

At one time these two mounts were available, as were almost all really exclusive mounts. However, the problem with TBC is the game never really moves forward anymore. We are forever stuck at 2.4.3 and to face it, Smolderforge 1-1.5 years ago was REALLY easy to obtain everything quickly. You could have full Tier 6 within a day or less and have all these really exclusive mounts too. Well... players got bored and left quickly. That is why prices on gear will go up occasionally when we change things. We're trying to make Smolderforge more rewarding, exclusive and give players a sense of achievement for playing and continue to play. Not get everything at once and not feel special.

So because of this, many of the exclusive mounts were wiped from players and only 1 returned as an arena-only mount which was the Spectral. The ZG mounts then returned soon after to buy but Baron's mount, Raven and Ashes are still unavailable at this time until we eventually decide how we want to add them back in. It's simply a manner of designing them into the game again, appropriately.

I'm guessing you're unaware but it's not possible for us to make new territory... The game is as it is and there's nothing I can change about it except use what's been given to us. I can make NPCs, quests and such but models, maps, sounds, etc. Are unchangeable without severe game modification and that is all client-side. Not server-side.

Hyjal is about, or over 2 years old now. It's nothing new -- I designed it a long time ago to get people out of Quel'Danas from PvPing (before zones were flagged friendly). It worked and for a while about a year ago Hyjal got insanely popular and we had to put a timer on it (was open 24/7 originally). The idea of making more PvP zones sounds good in theory, but do we really want to take more people away from queuing for battlegrounds, arenas, etc? Not sure how much we can take away from the PvP crowd without hurting other aspects of it.

There's only like 4-5 titles not accessible. Hand of A'dal, Scarab Lord, Conqueror, Justicar are the ones I can remember right now. I don't really see any reason to give out Scarab Lord since we're not doing AQ at all. Hand of A'dal was some big PvE title, which I'm not really sure of the line of that to obtain but if we just let people get it, and then actually implemented it in the future it would be like another Sunwell where we have to remove it from players who earned it.

Keep in mind Wrath titles are not in 2.4.3 so that's all we really have limits to.

So as you can see a lot of these things have been done, or considered. We have thought about them, a lot. I just try to be very careful which what we actually do decide and produce, rather than impulsively implementing things without thinking of the effect it will have and future consequences. I do thank you for your input, however. I just wanted to make sure you understood my opinions on it all.

Thanks for the reply i didnt know about the server cap and so on so thanks for that infomation but will there be anything new added in soon ? i know you said "We are forever stuck at 2.4.3" so i guess nothing else will be added but i was thinking you could maybe script the Scourge invasion event..Now i know it would probably be incredibly hard to make and would take insane amounts of time but its just something to think about but Thanks for replying and telling me everything , To be honest i was expecting just a small repsonce saying "Thanks" But you actually explained everything in Detail so Thanks again.
