Hello dear GM's of Smolderforge. I was sitting the other day thinking about something fun that we maybe could do on Smolderforge Server. Then the idea came up, an 2v2 or 3v3 tournament Guild vs Guild.
So my idea is some of the largest Guild or any Guild with alot of PvPers make some Teams and we play arenas for 2 days or something like that. The Guild who wins with most teams at the top win something or get a rank or something like that. This is just an idea i think could be fun. I'm sure more then we would love this type of tournament.

Some rules that it should have:

Each Guild can have 20 Teams as Max (so the smaller guilds can have teams.
You are not allowed to buy rating as i heared some people did at the s4 / s3.
You dont need any skills of the class you playing or any special gear (its only for fun).

It sounds fun but its awfully hard to do. Getting 20 teams per guild online at one time would be imposible. That's like 40-100 players depending on arena team that must be online at the same time. The server only holds 105. Imagine the number of Gm's that there will be needed to monitor the fights

Thats very true. Hmm, maybe its possible to make it in 1 week so players can play when ever they vent under the time. And we do it in the 2v2 rated games. Then just cheaking the top 30 Teams or something what guild they are in and the Guild with Best Rating and most team wins?

Its a niceish idea, but not every guild has such a wide userbase, its pretty much what the server is doing now, and its a lot of hastle to make sure that your guild mates dont face each other (if i understood your idea, along those lines). Itsj ust a lot of work and time for gm's to be on and such.

Not to mention we plan on probably wiping all guilds soon to increase server load time.
