Once you've closed Horde creation character to prevent the unbalance of the players. Now we have too many Alliance players and noone wants to role Horde.

My suggestion is:

You should allow people to turn their Alliance chars into Horde's Because noone likes to lose the Character nor the equips or whatsoever he/she had accomplished.
That would bring balance to the server, imo.

Horde character creation hasn't been disabled since we went to a dedicated server in November. Also while the sounding of transferring factions seems easy, it is not -- so far not it is almost impossible.

It took Blizzard several months, with a team of many, many developers to create a faction transferring server WITH a 3.x game client. We are a game client that does not support that type of stuff, not to mention I am mainly a one man team. Therefore, due to lack of resources and knowledge I'm afraid this will not happen. It would save more time to simply start over, or just carefully choose the faction you want to play on.
