You should add things to the game as soon as they are finished, or really increase the speed of server update waves.
Add in game target dummy's. This is a feature that would be absolutely amazing.
Completely remove event timing, people are going to do what they want, when they want. The server has no say in what they should and shouldn't do or when they should do it. Limiting what a player can do is only going to limit the server in a whole.
Use faction cities, there in the game for a reason. The will induce city raids which is an amazing part of PvP. Something like Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Players should start at the city, this can easily be done, no reason it shouldn't.
Use in game raids instead of creating new ones, the raids in the game are already good, they just need some fixes.
Separate the PvE and PvP vendors. Completely separate malls.
Cleaner vendors with relevant items. I would almost say, create all new vendors.
Place items in alphabetical order.
Clean up the gems vendor, removing unneeded ones, and adding needed ones.
Change the Inn keeper items to a General Goods vendor.
A world channel for global chat, can be done quite easily.
Let some of the GM's (or people who should be GM's) do this work, I know from personally speaking to people, they would be more than happy doing this work (where they GM). So saying you can't do it because you are busy (Henhouse), would be an excuse to just not do it.
You can create a server that allows low privileged GM's, to preform higher privilege operations. So you could create a dev server and not have to give these helping people full GM on the live server.

Re: Ideas
Some of these are already being implemented, some require other things to rely on, and several would require a lot of decision making and testing. Since Smolderforge is growing, I clearl made the announcement event timers would go away in due time so not sure why that's been suggested per se.
I'm already planning for Stormwind Vault to be closed soon, it just will happen with a server update, which only come out when everything is ready. The teleporter would also have to change to make this easier for the players.
The reason why this whole "lower-leveled" GMs will never, ever happen is because I am the only one that knows how all the flags in the database work to make the quests, NPCs, triggers, etc as they are. Doing such would require to hire new staff which would have to be thoroughly trained which I don't have the time for nor want to see implemented. If there's something I need made with the database, Kyle is there to help script with me. Other than that I'd prefer to develop and design things by myself; working with more designers that share different views of how something should look will be difficult to work with and slow me down.
Please note that Suggestions are taken into concideration. They are discussed between the staff when developing the new server update, if they make it into the dev server they are then tested and discussed on the forums in a thread I open regarding changes upcoming.

On that note, while its here in public Henhouse, I have no intent on helping you any further with Smolderforge. You just completely confirmed what I said to you on MSN.

You only do what YOU want, not what the community wants. The player base makes this server, they should be able to change it also.
Who are YOU to say what a developer might or might not know. These people might know far more than you do when it comes to certain things.

Re: Ideas
Says someone who has been here 1 week and trys to get everything he wants implemented through me as soon as possible, hypocritical much?
If you haven't taken the time to understand how Smolderforge works and yet would rather sit here and complain about things and blame me for them, then don't even bother to try and post your suggestions. If you continue to post these messages on the forums we will take these warnings to your in-game account as I, nor my staff will tolerate this immature behavior.
