Re: Stats in Percentages
Hi,
I don't know who, and why in the God's name have made it a server side thing to see enemy targets (players & npcs) health, mana and etc in percentages rather than in accurate numbers.
1st) It's fucking annoying to see everyone else with normal numbers and your target in percentages.
2nd) I want to know if one has 20,000 HP or not (player or npc) - so I know wether to jump him or not.
3rd) World of Warcraft provides an original interface function to display stats in percentages.
Anyway, due to the three points listed above, I think that such a "feature" is completely unessasery and arguably harmful.
It should be removed.
Best regards,
You-Know-Who

Re: Stats in Percentages
Who the fuck does this. There is so much RNG that could fuck up your "calculations" its retarded.CosminPetrisor wrote:because when you see the enemy's life you do some calculations in mind and you get an idea about how much hp you will leave the enemy after first rotation of abilities, somekind of strategy, as in chess.
Percentages are faster to read (especially on yourself) and you WILL adapt to it once you stop being such a crybaby.
This is like the most mundane and small change that does not change your gameplay at all, and yet people act like this is the end of the world. Any decent player doesn't give a fuck, adapts and keeps playing as if nothing had happened.

Re: Stats in Percentages
The thing is, Deems - that like mentione the fuck above, World of Warcraft Interface does offer an option for health bars to be displayed in percentages rather than exact, accurate numbers. Therefore, a player can /choose/ wether he wants health displayed with a number value, or percentages.Deems wrote:Who the fuck does this. Right now, with this feature, players are being /limited/ of their choice. Which shoudn't be the way.
I mean come on, you wan't percentages - you go to interface and put a tick on the option. You don't want percentages? - Well guess what, it's Smolderforge you gotta live with percentages.
Are you catching my drift?
I am not saying that it is, something major, drasticly affecting, or hurting gameplay and whatsoever, I am saying that such a thing should be a choice, not an obligation.

Re: Stats in Percentages
You are all missing the main point here.
HP in numbers or % should be a choice and world of warcraft allows such a choice, not an obligation that the feature is making it to be.

You said it urself.Horrorfever wrote:you gotta live with percentages.
Theres many things in this game that you can't choose between, and percentage health display just happens to be one of them. Adapt.

Re: Stats in Percentages
it does, u cant see HP so u cant calculate when to use shadow word death to not dmg yourself... its good to know especially as shadow priest because SWD which cause 1400 dmg to target is backfire dmging u for 1700+... (its bug but u have to play with it here...)This is like the most mundane and small change that does not change your gameplay at all

For one more God damn time. If you want percentages you can get them fromn your interface options, the server shoudn't force you to get them, it is just that simple.
