You don't need to feed me any of your arguments. I've spoken the same words, countless times by now.Swackx wrote:I will give you an argument, it shuts down any possible gap-closing a warrior can do, since snares/stuns are anything we have, so think about that.
However, i prefer to intervene to some random guy anyways and afk 30secs to actually join the battle again, because the FAP using ele shaman would oneshot me otherwise.

Yup you pretty much said it all, you shouldn't get a game-breaking advantage from a consumable. One more thing about the CC counter to FAP, the difference in effort between pressing a button and CC'ing someone for 30 seconds(in a BG with random people) is like day and night.I understand why you're concerned, but on the other hand I don't understand how you don't see the sheer power of a single consumable on a 2 minute cooldown. You're completely immune to every form of stun, snare and root for a 30 second period. That's better than what most classes have as their own tools/cooldowns. With your 30 second immunity to certain effects, you become a counter to certain classes ONLY because of the potion you consumed. See the problem? Consumables should stay as something that improves your character a little bit - like flasks for a small amount of ap/str/agi/sp boost or a health potion that gives you a small amount of health. That is the exact opposite of what FAP does - it gives you a massive advantage to an extent where even classes own abilities come second to its power.
I hope they just get rid of it.
Re: Pls remove Free Action Potion
i wonder...
If we offered FAP to everyone. And everyone in a BG used them. Would the quality of the Bgs here increase or decrease?

It would just change the class distribution, aka. no mages.

hardlight what a stupid question rofl
ofc it would decrease. cc/snare skills become more and more useless if everyone use this op potion.

It was a rhetorical question.

Tell that to Blizzard when they introduced this potion.Unmercy wrote: you shouldn't get a game-breaking advantage from a consumable.
Funny how you all act like Henhouse invented the Free Action Potions himself. It's nothing custom and if you disable or remove it for like 4 or 5 people that are disliking it, that would be kinda unfair imo. Because the people that actually play bg's, use these consumables. Although using it in duels is kinda lame, maybe you should only disable it in duels?
Also if you would like to complain I suggest you do that here: https://eu.battle.net/support
P.S. I don't care if you remove / disable them I'm just saying it would be bullshit to just remove / disable it for 5 people that dislike it. I'd rather see some poll with actual feedback from the server to really see how people feel about this consumable.
If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you..

There's no one in this thread, at all, anywhere, that implies Henhouse had anything to do with the invention of the pot, or any other consumable.Firstaidkit wrote:Tell that to Blizzard when they introduced this potion.

And why would we petition Blizzard? Let's say that they actually removed it from the game, what difference would that make here? They already nerfed it, quite a lot in fact. Did that change anything here? Are you saying that if changes are made on live, mop, we should make the same changes here? If not, then you're making absolutely no sense at all.
And your statistics are obviously based on some solid facts. Obviously.
Your just throwing random stupidity around, as per usual. It's amusing, but rather sad at the same time. If you want anyone to take your argumentation (yes, I'm generous enough to call it that, you can thank me later) seriously, try to think it through.
