Still didn't see a good reason other then you guys being frustrated about the fact your playing a class that depends on his stuns. Like I said before: Deal with it, it's part of the game just as the class rogue.
The only reason would be the unlimited materials part which we got access to for a while now (At least 1 year and a few months I think even longer..) and those materials will probably also be used for other flask, potions or elixers. So removing them is no option imo but maybe putting an limit on them seems fair? (all though everyone that farmed SSO reputation got unlimited materials but ok :-/).
Also I don't see what's the problem here? You can make those Free Action Potions yourself and use them every 2 min. Everyone can use it (unless your to lazy to farm SSO reputation). So really you don't have an advantage over someone. If someone pops free action potions, just use it as well.

The main good reason would be to remove/restrict a 1 min cd that counters a lot of aspects of - as said - multiple classes, not just Rogues. I think this hits Mages and Hunters harder than it hits Rogues tbh.
But I agree, you shouldn't remove them from the server. You should restrict their use by making them harder to come by. They're a part of the game, yes. But they're not designed to be spammed. As said, they weren't hard to come by on retail, and won't be hard to come by here if the mats were to be farmed either. This would of course restrict all other alchemy and engineering tools as well, which is a good thing since they were designed the same way.
And saying that action pots doesn't give you an advantage over someone is just wrong. Take us for example. We get into a fight, we both pop a free action pot each. Who would this hit the hardest? Just because you have access to the same tools as any other doesn't make them as effective. Don't get me wrong, I think professions should give you an advantage, otherwise they would just be unnecessary. But they should give you an edge at the expense of something else, in this case taking the time to work for said advantage.

Why is that just wrong? We both got the action potions so it just takes away the CC, that's what the Free Action Potion does makes you immune for it. Because removing CC from a class that needs it like mage and doesnt have any affected by it like priest, pretty much gives the priest an IWIN card, just an example. Or the poor huntards that get raped by mace stunning warrs and got no chance to slow em down.
and again, the evuul, op rogues dont get hit by it that hard, stuns are needed in arena, bgs are about lolzerg and not cc here, something ya should´ve noticed :_D
