Mayore wrote:yaa pls make turtle 100%
I tried to and it didn't work because the Turtle mount spell has no speed assigned to it since it doesn't increase any speed. Can possibly be overridden in SpellMgr.cpp though...

Don't you think the following shit might work ?

Code: Select all

case 37015:
spellInfo->Effects[EFFECT_0].MiscValue = 30174; // mount NPC entry
spellInfo->Effects[EFFECT_1].BasePoints = 100; // flight speed
spellInfo->Effects[EFFECT_2].BasePoints = 100; // ground speed
break;

A Felsteed with 100% speed would be cool :)

So yeah, Apu that was really similar code and how the SpellMgr file works, it can override the DBC files that read in what spells do. So I was actually able to add a mount speed effect to the turtle mount and get it to go 100% now. I also decided to modify a couple 60% spells to do the same this way, such as the Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Panther and Spotted Leopard mounts. All of which aren't live mounts. These were the mounts that were rumored to have hidden in the, now called "Bengal Tiger cave" in the early days of WoW.

So there's four mounts we can now incorporate some way that have a nice 100% speed modifier on them. Oh, and I'll add Felsteed, Warhorse, and Snowy Gryphon to the list of mounts to bump up to their max speeds. (I'll add Snowy Gryphon to the flying mount list too)

So the bengal tiger vendor will be added?

Imo it will be added on the former vendor.
About this vendor I got an idea. It would be interesting to sell all the free mounts on a "Classic" mounts vendor. And the mounts which require a specific currency on a "Rare" mounts vendor. It would be easier for new/casual players.

We have a new "multivendor" system that we're using for upcoming transmog vendors, which basically opens a dialog menu first asking you which vendor to open, so that idea would be really good to separate the two. :)
