Yeah, and im fine with adding BT patterns for an "exclusive" price, like 40 fragments? We can even take the currency of the donor mall items, 40k honor.. :D

At first Hartun I don't think that we should talk about end-game recipes and its respective prices. It's something we can't agree on but if this rework sees the light, the admin team will make their choice.
But yes, honor points would also be interesting as we're fastly stacked to 75k.
It's more about switching the profession system to something new, to something which doesn't let players freely fill their gbanks with tons of consumables that merely one of them got the recipe. And maybe create again a resale system that we had in the past with SWP items and SC.

The fragment system was created specifically for the legendary transmog; I don't think we'll use it for this. Especially since you can get the same amount through doing quests which give you badges too (there's the choice) so it makes sense to stay with Badges/Honor since you can convert badges to honor and a lot of honor is constantly obtained here.

It's meant to be a lossful conversion as I stated when we implemented it. Additionally, badges are very easy to come by, especially from voting.

Awww, and here I keep hoping you'll force people to grab mining, skinning, or herbalism. There's plenty of time for gathering during the dead patches where nothing is popping.

Darn it! Why do we even have ores and herbs spawning?

I hope you know that BT patterns aren't making BiS items at all and mostly of them are shoulders who are vastly inferior to t6 ones and bracers who are haste oriented but for healers. Those patterns will be used 99% of the time for transmog.

Put them for massive prices like 100 boj/50 boj/ 75k/40k honor etc.

Profession recipes vendors

Our players keep asking us about making recipes available for every profession, not just engineering and alchemy. Would you want to have those NPCs created? I know that many players farmed numerous rare patterns and this could be somehow unfair to them. Those vendors would be currency based so apart from Aldor/Scryers reputation requirement there would be Badges of Justice (or any other currency) cost too.
Good Idea, With Badges or Honor to get the recipe would be nice.
Profession materials

The endless access to materials creates imbalance and allows massive consumables stacking. This could be changed by making materials cost honor points (or any other suitable currency). At this moment it is enough to get just one character with exalted reputation to get whatever you need which does not help to improve any activity. Introducing some changes within the redistribution of materials could create some action or even make people start trading goods.
The downside of asking players trading goods is that we don't have an Auction House systeem. By doing so might greatly decreasing the value of maxed out professions. Many players might end up stop using unnecessary pots in BG/Pve. Which doesn't balance the game but reduce to lower level.
Materials and item duration

Introducing certain item duration for materials would prevent massive stacking of consumables which is not good for general server activity.
Would like to see a bit more explanation about this.
Profession specific items and skill requirements

Just like engineering gadgets, some profession specific items could possibly have profession skill requirements. Rocket boots cannot be used without having maxed engineering skill, the same thing could be applied to Greater Runes of Shielding and others.
I think most of the players have spent a lot of time to be able to get the recipe's/professions for different character's. This change might lead to disappointment of many players. Besides, it will be a big change compare to retail TBC.

I will create a topic for you guys to list recipes that you would like to have available at the new vendors.
