i don't even know why there is CHROMATIC MOUNT, it's very custom and i never met that.

i dont mean flying mounts.. i just mean the way it was solved on retail.. the mounts are useable but you can fly only ride on them.. just the riding.. not the flying effect.

thats all.. and in tanaris and all that ofc the same way.

I've always thought it would be cool if you could get recoloured Chromatic mounts that could be donated for. That way you could match your armour sets which would be pretty sweet. I don't know if it can be pulled off though. The problem I have always had with the Chromatic mount is that it is too large, so when PvPing it can be a bit hard to target your enemies with it being so large and all especially with all the chaos in a BG. But that could just be me being anal retentive.

That would be a great idea, since I myself have farmed exalted for the nether drakes. And it would be something different than seeing 10x amani bears 10x chromatic drakes in BGs. If Hen could pull it off, that would be the tits. Able to use them in tanaris/duel area/bg = Fantastic Idea. Definitely got my vote.

tbh this idea came in my mind after i farmed shatari skyguard exalted and i got the ray..
and then ii thought.. why not ask hen.. asking is still for free... i hope he is not too busy and can check out how much work that would be

Flying mounts in Tanaris would be awesome.

This was only done by Blizzard in Cata+, never in Wrath or TBC. That is the way the client handles what is a ground mount and what is a flying mount. I do not believe this would be possible at all in TBC since it would try to fly.


However, there are very difficult ways of tricking the client to allow flying in some areas of the old world by thinking it's in Outland. We are trying to accomplish this with Tanaris in the future -- but it's currently a low-priority change coming.

and what about the specific weapon restrictments like Quel serrar only being for war and pala
