Lelol, MMR was working here iirc. But after few minutes without any team of your rating, you could be against others to avoid endless queues.

Or we remove the current 2v2 and add a 2s Solo Que feature similar to 3s Solo Que! Arena based on luck, sounds fun to me.

I'm curious any of you guys actually play 2s on this server ?
Like I already posted Top 20 consist of the same ppl which are most likey friends and wont que vs each other. Besides that adding cost to create a 2v2 team is pointless imo it's not like that ppl have tons of alts on different accounts which they will logg to avoid losing rating on main team or to snipe high teams.
@ OP: You've posted a healthy ladder from retail but this is a privat server with 150-200 players at max and most of them doing Battlegrounds instead of Arena. Top 10 is no suprise at season end cause ranks are already set from the beginning. Was Zat and his guild before and now it's Mirok or Ptaq and his guild.You have to deal with it. There are alot important things which the SF team should focus on fixing bugs or recode the Dual Talent specialization which is really needed imo.

Yeah that's why I suggested implementing it temporarily to see if it actually has an effect on the ladder/balancing, since it's worth at least trying assuming the coding time doesn't take a lot of time. I play 2s on this server with my arena partner of a few years, though we're typically online during low pop hours with only one other team queing and the same comp over and over get's boring.

You made no real arguments why Itslovelol's suggestion would have a bad impact on the server, from what you said it doesn't even seem like you understood what he meant.

Arenas has always been about the rating, the stats shouldn't matter, which this change will essentially fix since people don't seem to want to fix it themselves.

I said it's pointless imo, maybe on retail they don't care about stats.But again this is a private server, some ppl try to play with flawless stats 50-0 for example. You want retail changes? Go play retail! I for myself play TBC b/c I like the content which TBC provides the good things and bad things.

I said it's pointless imo, maybe on retail they don't care about stats.But again this is a private server, some ppl try to play with flawless stats 50-0 for example. You want retail changes? This is the problem, the only reason they are able to get 50-0 is because the first 35 games or so they farm new players that are stuck at 1500-1600 rating, then after that they just dodge and counter queue.

This is not fun, with either a system that Itslovelol suggested or mmr this wouldn't happen or it would at least be a lot more difficult, which it should.

Really good players should not be able to get matched vs new 1500 players unless there aren't anyone else to face which would equal to a 5 minute queue for the high rated team before they are matched to 1500 players.


It's a bad circle, new players come, they set up their character and queue up with a friend, they then end up getting stomped by experienced S4 geared players because they remake their teams every day. New players then get bored and leave.

It also makes it so it's extremely difficult to climb in rating because you keep facing equal skilled or better players that's at 1500 rating.


So I'd say implement some new system for this, then wait 1-2 months so people will have time to get their main and alt characters up to their real rating, that is when we will see the system shine.
