Not new but way too late imo

Changes are never too late. The server has always been having up and downs. Many players stops play for a while and comes back. This server is surely one of the top tbc server that exist. There will be more players coming.

SWP changes were hard to implement, because it removed what half or more of the population farmed SWP parts.
Just imagine if the same appears with the PvP sets. It would mean that every player wasted their "time".
You're wrong on your last sentence, players are looking for new experiences, not modified ones.
Just saying, there is a new server which opened last week, more than 10k players yesterday.
Modifying few things like that would not improve the player base at all. Smolderforge needs to continue to innovate, and if this requires to pay someone for that, it's worth. CROSSFACTION BG PLS

To the OP - Maybe not removing gear, but what if you are required to have high arena rating just to use all s4 parts... For example - if you leave arena team you won't be able to use s4 set, untill you get high enough rating and keep that rating up... this way there will be more constant number of arena teams and overall they will be higher than the current ones.

Why do you think overcomplicating is a good idea? I wonder how often people would have to change their items and pick their S4 from the mailbox just because they were around 1700 rating and lost one game. Season ends, and what? Entire PvP community logs their naked characters because of the team wipe? I can understand one SWP wipe and spectral tigers wipe every 2 or 3 months, but this? Mounts are for the sole purpose of prestige but gear is quite essential in this game if you ask me. The problem lies within the gear system here.

There is no remedy for this situation without sacrifice. No matter of what arguments you come up with, we all know that some things are just not right. Think of Thori'dal as an example of this.

This isn't a balanced patch either so no matter what you do or say there will always still be some "problems". If you don't like how this server is organized and the community, feel free to leave, as far as i know no one is forcing you to play here.

What about Thori'dal ? The s4 and some PvE ranged weapons are veeeery comparable with its dps. Are you trying to say that hunters are breaking the balance? cmon

I honestly don't understand why we need pve gear at all. When was the last time PvE was an actual focus here? Time and time again, Henry has listened to children begging for more and more shit for vanity sake. If there was a way of having the legendary transmog effect for vanity gear, rather than the actual item, that may be better.

Henry, you finally rid us of SWP, but what did you do? you unlocked every damn item up to that point for practically nothing. Sure, it has a bit less burst and haste, but it's still a clusterfuck of PvE stacking in most BGs. I'm tired of the excuse "But people will leave..." If they can't adapt, let them leave. You're killing this server with repeatedly catering to them, crapping out more and more free shit they plain don't deserve or need.
