1. We need crass-faction battlegrounds. If not all day, then half the day (3am servertime to 3pm servertime).
a. why?
- The Blizzlike system for battlegrounds is outdated by the internet, not by its original design. We all understand the argument that Horde v Alliance is a staple of the game, so don't start arguing. That only has to change for battlegrounds. Taking a deep breath and allowing this singular change, if not others, would heal the deep population wound for Smolderforge. (This means more people to do arena with, simply by making all-day play, and fair-play, instantly accessible.)
- In order to stay fresh and keep up with other pvp servers, we need to apply crossfaction bgs.
- Our horde population is too high and needs to be balanced out permanently, not just by who paid to change to alliance for a few weeks.
- A high horde population was a problem on retail as well...so they added better racials. Made Humans the best race for WOTLK, and thus balanced the horde weight. A high horde population is still a problem today on many blizzlike Vanilla and Burning Crusade servers, especially the pvp ones.
- This server is old and the horde population has been built up over the years, to a smaller group of geared players that all support eachother and change factions at whim. This seems as though switching back and forth would heal the problem, but this is very untrue. It only causes a wider gap in the community, and in newcomers.

2. Fix up PVE for xmogging, profs, and badges. (Yes, this has been done over time, and should continue to be done as with any server, even a pvp server. If you delete half the game you have half a game and people will get bored. This is a huge flaw that other pvp servers have, a lack of the pve option even for pvp means.)

3. Facebook is dead. We need twitter and probably shit like reddit (GROSS) to help remind people we exist. Also a refresher of the followers would be great.

4. Older players need to commit and split their ranks into alliance now or never, and not just for a little while.. forever. Older players should be helpful and not just tell people to shut up or to go away. Older players should know when to keep their fingers busy and not typing. So often I see LFG shit-spouting, its got to stop, its unattractive. And since we have a low population, its even MORE unattractive to players.

As a pvp focused server, I think its a pretty good idea. Now a days, QQ can take up to 30 mins. But as Hen told before, they are not able to make the game this way. Atleast, not yet.

however i belive that horde has more players who play horde and horde only

You're half right. I do play both and do swap sides, but I don't do it for the 'winning' usually, I play the side with more players capable of following simple instructions. While that does usually lead to wins, that's not always the case.

All my toons are honor and BG mark capped, so I don't really care who wins or loses anymore. I just want a team with a brain, failing that, I'll find a source of amusement one way or another.
