Thanks for the suggestion, Akeno, but I do think that this falls quite along the lines of spectating for arena.
That is something which I would value more highly than spectating battlegrounds. You'll run into the problem of the fact those maps are very large, and you'll need to accomodate people spectating to follow those players around, or get around very quickly. All in all there is absolutely nothing special about watching BGs and this is the first time I've ever even heard it suggested. I can see in some scenarios, but trust me: it wouldn't be worth it.
Turning to arena spectating, this is something we'd still like to do in the future one day. However, it requires a significant amount of software engineering, and backwards compatibility coding done to make the public, 3.3.5a spectating patches, work with out 2.4.3 systems, which take a large amount of time. We have many priorities that will see light before these do, I'm afraid. But nevertheless, we have not forgotten.
