Transmog

Looking at the transmog feature , it seems like you can only access transmog via voting (or donating for unllimited mog), meaning you can only get ONE mog done over 2 days of voting or paying money to access it.

I suggest something that you can access this alluring feature (which seems pretty unique vs other servers atm) is having a vendor or the mog vendor sell a transmog token for a price of say 10 or 20 badges, this then gives those people who are fully geared and stuff, an incentive to play bgs and such and also something for non donors to access too.

I dont see why this feature is closed off to non donors doing 2 days of voting for 1 token or donators playing money for it, it could bring more people to the server having it avaliable to everyone.

Just my thoughts/suggestions.

EDIT: I understand it gives an incentive to vote, but maybe you can vote for say 3 tokens to give people incentive to vote aswell as farm badges for mogs.

I doubt if you even insert codes while voting if your attidude is like this. Voting and donating helps the server, spending BoJs doesn't. It's not hard to insert 6 codes from the pictures every 12 hours. I vote every time it's possible and when I invent some new transmogging set I have enough points to buy all the tokens I need.

Then its more of a vote feature rather than a server feature. my point is that its advertised on the top100 sites that it has transmog as a feature, its not really a feature if you have to give something to access this unique feature that i doubt other 2.4.3 servers have.

Yes because people expect to have access to a feature that is advertised , its the same as having a custom bg or something , it is a server feature that for example a newcomer should have access to, without being wormed into voting for a server that you just signed up to, voting should be a choice, not something you have to do to gain access to something that you wanted to check out . Id still vote without a gift of a token because i like the server , which is what voting should be about. Most servers do the same thing its not just this one.

why not have both, make voting for a transmog token a quicker way to gain it over farming badges, but have a way so people can still can gain tokens in game after theyve voted or something . I dunno, its just weird how someone has to wait 6 hours to mog another item again.

If you speak to the tranmog NPC and click a text opinion he will clearly tell you, the reasoning for tranmog was implemented to promote voting, that was it's sole purpose. People were full on badges, didn't need them, etc. So transmog was implemented to continue getting new and old people voting without allowing them to cash in on honor, badges, etc.

So no, this will remain the same as this feature was designed specifically to promote voting.
