Custom Transmogrification Suggestion

+1 to transmog.

I believe this will bring lots of new players to the serv and giving it something new after all these years.
Ive been here for 3 years and the pvp system has gotten better and better. but the layout, the bg's and arena needs a lift as its a funserv aswell. I returned to retail with great expectations for the same reason, transmog.

ive heard only positive thoughts cocerning this topic. you've got my support and several others

I definitely want to add it. While I'm concerned about the display bug that we're going to have to accept with this transmog (also the fact GMs will see the incorrect item too), I'm more wondering how to properly implement this into the game, as well as make it a donation option. Maybe people can throw out simple ideas and prices, but I need to think of something that is truly good and implement it. Once it's implemented it's hard to change, so getting it right the first time is important.

So what he can do that anyways with or without transmog disguise, doesn't matters. They use it on retail in arena too if I'm not mistaken and you got a lot more gearsets there.

Making it a donationoption wouldnt be my first choice as the majority of players doesnt donate, or able to do it. Everyone (and I mean everyone) will be eager to transmog. Making it a donationoption only, will implement the old private-server problem. Pay for overpower gear to be able to 2hit others. This is an even cooler customjob than gear imo. the swp-s4 system taht u can achiev 2k or raid for it is a good system to earn money to the server, but also giving all players the oportunity to get it (more or less heh).

Way of charging for transmog-< imo

Rating-> i dont think thats a good idea as it will only make ppl wintrade or whatever to get it, which will unbalance entire arena.

Donation-> i dont think fully donation for transmog is the best either since it will divide the server. I donated for s4 since its a quicker way to get it and that it increases my dps, heal and so on. but not by much. FYI* arenaprofiles would pay for s4. once u donate for visuals on char. gets something else.

Honorable kills/honor/badges-> This would be the perfect system to increase the pvp activity on the serv and brining everyone on the ship to transmog. The problem is here that the server also needs help with the upkeep ( by donations ofc)

Make transmog avaible with the gear for honorable kills/honor/badges. Donate for the weapontransmog. This is the closest you can get to almost getting the same by not donating, which I think is the best way to go. ( I also belive, after transmog gear, several will donate to have their cool weps) I will =)

Sorry for the confusion. Allowing it for donation is merely an alternative. I would not implement this feature if it wasn't accessible to everyone. The way I would LIKE to go about doing it is like X amount of badges per transmog, or donate for full transmogging access. Seems nice. The only problem is, there isn't a way to program the system to like CHECK for badges in bags appropriately and remove them. Only vendors can do that, not NPC gossip selections. So... I'm a little confused.

Good idea. I was thinking though, could u make no external NPC where u use a portal for lets say 20 badges, and u come to the area where u can transmog. Maybe you could separate the options Head, shoulders, gloves and so on, or block the not(allowed) ones on that specific NPC.

Just like the donormall (testing) is made. like an instance itself.

it would be up to 10 diferent portalzones since every single only allows 1 part, if u dont want to make a total transmog portal costing lots of badges. Or you could always work something out with reputation as proffessions are made

Oh gosh! I was hoping it would be live already after the extended maintance.. Guess I'll have to wait more.
