Really? Hyjal? It's too small and open, which means that the only pvp there will be zerg rushes which isnt really an ideal pvp experience...
How about a larger zone like Azshara Crater? or make pvp available along with the dailies in the Isle of Quel Danas? Or even a sanctuary dueling zone for both factions or even just enable dueling at the mall.
It's pretty boring if the only available pvp on this server is dueling with about 4 people outside Stormwind, going outside Orgrimmar and getting killed by a gang of Horde, or the same old Battlegrounds.

Instead of selling the engineering / alchemy mats at Isle of QD, have a port of something to a "material" zone, with various chests tool tipped with it's contents with important and needed mats, but make the area a pvp zone, so like actual retail wpvp, people are trying to farm and others are ganking / hunting other pvpers.
Or maybe award "Fragments of Justice" (the Isle of QD daily rewards that are turned in for badges of justice) for kills against horde in said wpvp zones, to lure more people to wpvp isntead of sitting in the mall trolling LFG.
Just want to make it clear that I don't know anything about coding / level designes in WoW, so if some of this is impossible you can always improvise to something similar :)

Azshara crater has way to many bugs, in terms of line of sight and terrain issues, you'll be falling through the map about 99.9.8% of fears, blinds, and other cc.
Hyjal is fine.

how about having a neutral dueling area? And i dont remember Azshara Crater being so buggy on servers which had Crater wpvp, but maybe they had to adjust it to work, not sure.
and Imperium, by ideal wpvp experience i meant not a small zone where its just 1 small path to the other base where it just ends up 1 faction having 20 people camping the spawn untill they teleport out, then having ranged classes kill people as they ress at the graveyard being out of range of the guards. It's too open as a zone, you can see where everyone is with the exception of stealth and trees, as soon as i sneak around and attack someone 20 people from the other side of the lake rush over, its just a zerg fest. At least in Crater there are nooks and crannies, and if you gave badges for killing blows (not HKs) i think it'll increase the ammount of pvpers there, without making it a zerg rush.
Im not suggesting to remove Hyjal if you like it, but give pvpers more choice depending on what they prefer, Hyjal may be fine for you, but it isnt fun for everyone.

A good Zone for example would be burning steppes.Alliance is at the Alliance camp and horde is at the Altar of Storms.
90% of the NPC's around Burning Steppes should be deleted
Add new pvp npc's all over the area which have a 1-5% chance of dropping a BoJ.
Add capturable custom GY (like in zangarmarsh just with arathi basin flag).
Add several kinds of daily objective maybe even some PvE objectives and PvE mobs.
Make guards that will actually be immune to anything and 1shot anything to prevent basecamping(stronger guards then hyjal GY..only at the new pvp zone in the base)
(This were just suggestions i came up with i'd love helping with that even and this is made up in 1minute of thinking so i could surely improve the idea and anything is of course still open for discussion :O)

I was always one for a more interactive World PVP area... an area where players could do "World Bosses" and daily quests there. Farm REP and some other stuff. Pretty much a WOW world that would perfectly fit our server population.
Beyond that, the idea of multiple ally bases/graves would allow players to move/port between some areas...avoiding the grave camping aswell as granting players the idea of if possible -- to capture bases and get badges/ recapture bases and get badges.
And if possible with captured places, it would offer more daily quests that would offer fragments.

I agree with everything you posted, even with the zone. What about killing players to obtain Fragments of Justice on killing blows, (not hks to prevent massive groups forming)? Maybe not for just the zone, but for all of the server, maybe excluding BGs, somehowFleepz wrote:I agree.

Gurubashi arena, is completely dismissed though.
Neutral dueling is, as I understand, quite difficult in TBC. It will be in Wotlk SF though.
Interactive World PvP was attempted by Blizz - though, with petty attempts if I say so.
They were all mostly outland etc, so everyone had flying mounts and the zones were massive and finding players was usually... hard.
I like the thought of PvPvE - IE, a World PvE Boss that controls part of the World PvP zone, whichever faction kills him receives a zonewide buff or whatever.
However. This might not even be possible, as TBC is very limited. I would love to see this implemented, but our main developer Henhouse is even more limited than the realm itself.
