Ok,as everyone can see and feel(ally),Horde is more populated then ally, and in big scale.
So I got an idea how to try to balance factions.
Ally and Horde has quest for BG:"Honor of ..." and its revard is 3555 honor and 4 badge of justice.
Now if Smolderforge stuff makes new quest for ally only, that gives more honor and more badge of justice in proper scale, i think it would allow ally to gear up faster,so it meets horde level.
What you think about it?

Faction balancing
Re: Faction balancing
Players would have to play both factions and actually realize there's a reward different for Alliance characters. Unless we made it an announcement and broadcasted it often that it'll be easier to gear Alliance, etc. This could be a good idea though.

Re: Faction balancing
(Just my two cents, nothing more)
:/ I don't like it. When you make one faction more rewarding than the other, you're making it imbalanced to create balance. I think you should make the factions more individualized. In terms of playability, on SM there is no difference between alliance and horde (other than imbalanced pvp) You should introduce horde only things, and alliance only things, (not necessarily custom items, people hate those) maybe pushing the Bloodguard/Knight tabard thing, making it more prestigious (Example, it costs 10k honor from reg mall and 2k from donormall. It's useless if it's free at donormall. Keep in mind I got donormall access yesterday, so I'm not like pointing fingers and whining like "they have it i don't not fair qq"). So the faction individualized things on this server kind of play a diminished role on this server I think. Re implementing AV now that I think about it is a massive step in the right direction because of the AV mounts. On retail I did AV for like three months (not everyday, but whenever I could play/wasn't sick of PvP) to get my frostwolf. I loved that frostwolf so much. I thought of it as creating an aura of distinguishment. It's horde only. Stormpike Charger is alliance only. It's individualizing the factions.
Do you see what I'm getting at?

Re: Faction balancing
If they do that they are still on the same spot.Ally get what they can get as usual, and horde get what they get as usual. So no move.Point is that ally get gear easier so that they can match up with horde. Lot's of ally's switched to horde because horde is overrated and because it get gear easier and faster.
