I made an account on main site which is my email address. How do I then go and make an in game account since I can't log in using my email in game!?

This is the account made on the main site. I finally got it to work, but I had to use my email address as my account name, and now I can't log into the game because my email address is too long for the in game log in...

Am I missing or doing something wrong here?

I can't log in because my account name is my email address, which is too long to enter into the game client...

Can't create account. Says email is invalid... the same one I used to create this forum account.
