You won't learn anything unless you play it. As for getting good at something fast? I don't know. Don't think there are any classes that you can master easily. There are classes with higher skillcap than others, and there are classes that are fairly effective even if you don't play them all that we...

Well, I'd say Mage or Warlock for solo play. Add Priest and Warrior to that if playing with friends. I Generally like mages, but I cant seem to learn how to play a Mage on SF really.
