Re: Characters gone? Recently returned here
I see... Perhaps someone in a position of authority could come in here and shed some light? I'd like to know if there is any way to get me and my friends stuff back.

Characters gone? Recently returned here
Hello, today me and my friend were going to start playing on this server again, however we found it strange that none of us could log in with our usual usernames. We then tried to make new accounts with our usernames and none of them were taken, which made me suspicious. We also chose silly names on...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
I've revised the donorship email (and a bit of the others) to the following: Greetings Firstname Lastname (email@address.com), This automated email means your Paypal donation was a success and you are ready to get teleported to the donor mall! Below is your code, simply type this code into the code...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
In regards to the timestamps, actually nothing about you buying gear is ever logged. I'm certain it is for Blizzard but that's never been the case with private servers. That's a _LOT_ of unneeded data. If our chat logs get to ~4GB within like a month, I cannot imagine just how bad the vendor logs w...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
You seem to misinterpret the word donation. You didn't pay for any services, you helped to keep the server up. There wasn't a product to begin with, you pretty much just got rewarded for your generosity... Even if you could compare timestamps, it's a guideline to prevent useless work. Funny how you...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
Bottom line is, I feel that this is taken care of quite unprofessionally, sorry to say but like henhouse said , Summer is over. they arent doing this for a living. I've gotten a new race change in retail after picking the wrong race aswell, I made the ticket right as I saw the problem and then ofco...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
Therefore, you're cheating out everyone else who realized they didn't want their characters later on and paid for the transfer . I should not be held accountable for you or your friend's mistakes and impatience. Yes, you had to wait a while for your ticket to be serviced, everyone does. The bold pa...

Re: Donorship refund denied, need to talk to a GM.
And that's the part which can't be proven, there are many people who would abuse this, that's why it totally makes sense to rely on obvious guidelines. If he wanted to test, he could have created a new character. The second any gear is found in the log it can be exploited. I see no reason a GM shou...
