Photos are not enough of a proof that the account/characters are yours.
Otherwise all who has pictures of another char would be able to clame them as theirs

No, you dont need a special launcher for smolderforge.
Are you sure that you are on the right patch and using the right account info?

Have you tried deleting your cache folder, restartig the computer/the wow client?
And is today the first day you try?

Does it happen everytime you log in, or just sometimes?

I´m sure there will be more events aswell.
Terezi is american and the others (most of them like Nosh said) are european so if they host events when they have time, more will have the oppurtunity to participate :)

If you choose to think in that perspective

Try deleting your cache in your wow folder!
It might solve your problem!

Try creating a new account to see if it works better.

Or you can try giving the players another rank, or re-creating the rank of which you speak :)
