The only way to get to GM island is by using 3rd party programs. There for your ban is completely legitimate.

Yesterday Suko was sitting in durotar just talking to someone. I was putting uber heal so he could just sit there. Wasn't hurting anyone. When someone asked for me to take it off I knew it was becoming a problem so I ported him out. As simple as that.
